VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – Field GIS Technical Support

G-SIG Timor-Leste is seeking a motivated and qualified Field GIS Technical Support to support implementation of the Timor-Leste Fuel Price Volatility Response Project, funded through the Indo-Pacific Response Flexible Fund (IPRFF) under the Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) Disaster READY Project, in partnership with World Vision Timor-Leste.

The successful candidate will support field data collection, household verification, GIS mapping, beneficiary data management, data quality assurance, market monitoring, post-distribution monitoring, SADDD/inclusion monitoring and project reporting in Bobonaro and Covalima.

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Disaster Risk Management, IT, Surveying or related field;
  • 1–2 years of relevant GIS/field data collection experience, and Experience in humanitarian/development/DRR projects is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of QGIS, digital data collection, and Good data management and analytical skills
  • Good Tetum and English communication skills, and Willingness to undertake frequent field travel;

Duty Station: Bobonaro

Contract type: Project-based

Duration: Three months (September to November, 2026) (renewed based on performance and project needs)
