G-SIG is a youth-led, non governmental organization (NGO) based in Timor-Leste. Founded by geoscience and GIS students, it focuses on promoting, developing, strengthening, and sharing knowledge with the public, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies. G-SIG specializes in geoscience and geospatial data technology for addressing environmental risks, climate change, natural disasters, biodiversity, and the sustainable management of natural resources in Timor-Leste through GIS platforms. The organization is legally registered under tax number 06/DNRN DGSRN/MJ/II/2023.
