G-SIG will Participate in the 5th National Climate Change Conference in Dili
Hello to all Mappers! G-SIG is excited to announce that we have been given the opportunity to participate in the 5th National Climate Change Conference in Dili, organized directly by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment in collaboration with the Climate Change Working Group. The conference is part of the National Environment Day celebrations on October 25th.

During this national conference, G-SIG’s President Mr. Ponciano da Costa de Jesus, will have the opportunity to present as a youth group from Timor-Leste and showcase our advanced work related to GIS and how we apply this technology in responding to natural disasters and tackling the urgent challenges of climate change and its impacts in Timor-Leste. We strongly believe that geospatial technology is essential for strengthening preparedness and response efforts to climate change. We warmly invite you to join us at this conference as we engage in important discussions on this crucial topic. A heartfelt thank you to World Vision Timor-Leste for giving us the opportunity to participate in this important event and present our initiatives.
